This Privacy Policy explains what information thekrisrobinson.com (the “Site”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Site is the personal portfolio of Kris Robinson, a search marketing specialist based in North Carolina, USA. In this policy, “I,” “me,” and “my” refer to Kris Robinson.

Information you give me

When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and message, and you may add a role or company name. That information is emailed to me and stored in the Site’s WordPress database so I can reply. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in the form.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the Site automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. This information comes from:

Google Analytics (connected through Google Site Kit). It uses cookies to measure how visitors find and use the Site.
Hosting and security logs kept by my web host to operate and protect the Site.
Embedded content from third parties such as Google Maps and YouTube. It behaves as if you had visited those sites directly, and they may set their own cookies.

I do not sell or rent your personal information. Data Retention

Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up about opportunities, after which they are deleted. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the Analytics property.

Access, correction, or deletion: Email me to ask what information I hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted.
Cookies: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Analytics opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws. I will respond to requests as those laws require.

Security

I use reasonable measures, including HTTPS encryption, to protect information sent through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for employers, recruiters, and business professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

The Site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and yallclick.com. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
